Job Description

A Magento developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining e-commerce websites using the Magento platform, primarily focusing on customizing themes, creating custom modules, integrating third-party services, optimizing performance, and ensuring the security of online stores built on Magento, often requiring proficiency in PHP programming and a deep understanding of Magento functionalities to meet client requirements and deliver a seamless user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Building and configuring Magento websites according to client specifications.
• Creating custom Magento modules and extensions to add unique functionalities.
• Modifying existing Magento functionality to fit specific business needs.
• Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and extensions.
• Analyzing and optimizing Magento website performance for faster loading times.
• Implementing caching mechanisms and database optimization strategies.
• Performing code reviews and ensuring code quality.

Required Skills:

• Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Back-End Web Development and Front-End Development skills.
• Experience in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and Programming.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• 5+ years of experience in Magento 2 development.
